1. The Government of the Republic of Korea cannot but be outraged once again over the fact that following the death of a Japanese national, Haruna Yukawa, another Japanese, Kenji Goto, has been murdered in an act of terrorism.

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea reaffirms its position that acts of terrorism cannot be justified under any circumstances and will continue to join the efforts of the international community to eradicate acts of terrorism.

3. The Government of the Republic of Korea stands by the Japanese people to share their pain and sorrow caused by the acts of terrorism, and offers its deepest condolence to the Japanese government and the bereaved families of the victims.
